ThyssenKrupp Access Offers Diverse Elevator Product Line

Elevator products that fully comply with ADA Accessibility Guidelines

Grandview, Missouri - ThyssenKrupp Access, a leading manufacturer of elevator and accessibility products, announces the availability of its commercial Flexi-Lift® elevators and vertical platform lifts in meeting the design and architectural needs of today's commercial construction market.

The Flexi-Lift, a LU/LA (Limited Use/Limited Application) elevator, is the preferred choice of building owners and architects. The Flexi-Lift features a small 14" pit requiring no major excavation, and with a reduced overhead clearance of just 10'7", this elevator fits within most existing facilities. Features include: 1,400-lb. load capacity; travel speeds of 30 fpm; 35' maximum lifting height; five maximum stops; automatic, center-opening, sliding doors or automatic bi-fold car doors; flexible car sizes ranging from 36" - 54" wide by 36" - 60" long; and remote power unit and controller.

A popular alternative to ramps, and in some cases, to low-rise elevators, is ThyssenKrupp Access Porch-Lift® vertical platform lifts. These lifts overcome architectural barriers with cost and space efficiency with lifting heights of up to 14'. The popular PL- ENC Enclosure is enclosed throughout its entire travel in a modular aluminum frame and acrylic panel hoistway. To meet both architectural and weather requirements, this lift can be installed in a hoistway that blends with surroundings or completely concealed. Features include: 750-lb. load capacity; travel speeds of 9-21 fpm; three maximum stops; gates or standard doors; and 180 colors to meet any interior/exterior design specification.
