ThyssenKrupp Access Offers New AIA/CES Accredited Course
GRANDVIEW, MO, June 14, 2004, - ThyssenKrupp Access, a leading accessibility manufacturer and an approved provider of American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Services, announces a new online course for architects.
The online course, "Meeting the American Disability Act Accessibility Guidelines with Wheelchair Lift & Elevator Applications," is available to architects and specifiers who are interested in learning the basics of ADA accessibility compliance. The course discusses the standards for the design and installation of these devices as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). Upon successful completion of this course, AIA members will receive 1 HSW Learning Unit (LU) from the American Institute of Architects.
