ThyssenKrupp Access Introduces Select BOS

Grandview, Missouri - ThyssenKrupp Access, a leading manufacturer of stair lift and accessibility products, announces the availability of its Select BOS in meeting the mobility and independence needs of today's growing senior population.

The Select BOS is a battery-operated (24V) stair lift offering a simple and safe solution to stairs without making any dramatic changes to one's life or structural changes to the home. Because of the battery-operated drive system, the stair lift will continue to operate during a power failure. Features include: straight stair configuration; travel speeds of 18-25 fpm; 25° to 45° incline limits; 16' maximum track length; rack and pinion drive system. The 18"-wide swivel seat, with a 300-lb. capacity, fully turns at both stair levels - locking in place at 70° and 90° for comfort and security. Another feature is the 12-inch extended footrest, two inches more than previous models. Because of its compact design, the Select BOS seat and footrest can fold up 14" away from the wall, leaving plenty of room for others to pass by. Seat upholstery options include diamond wheat fabric or tan vinyl that will blend with virtually any home décor.

The Select BOS also shares features which have made all ThyssenKrupp Access stair lifts so popular: padded armrests, contoured seats, seat belts, swivel seat cut-off switch, wireless remote controls, hand-held controls, and footrest obstruction sensor.
